Washing and Laundry

an-energy-efficient-washing-machineWhen deciding to purchase a new washing machine the best advice for anyone is, do not buy the cheapest one that you see. Hidden behind the great deal is normally many other things that will cost you extra in the medium to long term. That is, if the washing machine lasts that long!!

The cost of a washing machine is not only the cost to actually have the washing machine sat in your kitchen but also the cost of each time the door shuts, the powder is placed in and the clothes start to spin. Cost per wash( cycle ) is a important factor. If you are using the washing machine alot then it most probably will cost you more money in the medium – long term as you will be paying more per load done.  Energy efficient machines are not generally the cheapest on the market but manufacturers are pushing to lower the prices to make them a close alternative to lesser efficient ones.
